How does it work?
Newton's Cradle is named after Sir Isaac Newton, the world renowned scientist who unraveled the mysteries of physics, and introduced his laws of Motion. 'For every action there is an equal opposite reaction'. Newton's Cradle is a brilliant and fascinating demonstration of Newton's third law.When one ball is raised and released it will collide with the static balls in the centre, transmitting energy. When the energy reaches the last ball, it swings out and back again. If two balls are pulled back and released, then the last two balls swing out, etc.
