These stunning geodes are irresistible. They are naturally formed quartz geodes bonded with metal vapours to make their beauty POP!
It's hard to resist the allure of a rock that is rugged and weathered on the outside, yet so sparkly and colourful on the inside.
A geode typically begins when a cavity forms in a rock. The cavity could be from air inside explosive volcanic rock or it could come from the hollow remains of animal burrows or tree roots. Over thousands of years, mineral-rich ground or rain water seeps through the rock and into the cavity depositing layers of crystals.
From gold and silver to titanium and platinum, the color and internal crystal features of each geode differ based on the metal vapour used in the bonding process. Measuring 5cm across, each piece is exquisite.
