Neutral Litmus Test Paper - purple

Neutral Litmus strips test for Neutrality of a solution, or its acidity or alkalinity. It will change to red in an acidic solution or blue in an alkaline solution. No color chart is provided, as the reaction of the strip in a test solution shows the area of the pH scale by a simple color change.

The pH test strips and papers are based on acidobasic indicators, which change their colors in a particular pH range. Acidobasic indicators are generally very stable compounds, and we have chosen the best indicators based on their properties for use in our strips. This is the reason that pH test strips or papers do not indicate an expiration date and are not packaged in containers with dessicant. They are so stable that special packaging (such as air-tight stoppers, unpermeable material for packing, dessicant, etc) is not necessary.
