Metal Earth - Mars Rover

Construct your very own Mars Rover! Have NASA's twin rovers, named Spirit and Opportunity, proudly sit on your mantelpiece after building them yourself.

You'll receive an 11cm square thin sheet of metal and a detailed set of instructions that will allow you to build a model of the high polished 3D Mars Rover. Incredibly detailed, these fascinating models are a fun challenge to build.

Spirit and Opportunity launched separately in 2003 and landed three weeks apart in January 2004. They made important discoveries about wet environments on ancient Mars that may have been favourable for supporting microbial life. Although Spirit ceased communicating with Earth in March 2010, Opportunity continues its work on the Red Planet.
