Choose from two different turtle types, or get one of each! Place the egg in water and watch it hatch after a couple of days. The turtle will continue to grow until it reaches its full size in about 7-10 days. It can grow up to 5 times its original size!
Turtles are one of the most threatened species in the world. Real turtle eggs are highly sensitive to temperature, and this can affect whether the baby turtle is male or female. If the sand the turtle eggs are buried in is warmer, the babies will be female; if it is cooler, they will be male. Sea turtles can live to over 80 years old.
