What you get
A plastic tub of fluoro slime. Tub measures approximately 7cm high and 4.5cm in diameter. Colours vary, a random selection will be chosen for your order.
How does it work
Slime is an engaging way to explore non-Newtonian matter - those liquids and solids that don't quite behave themselves. When you bang your Slimy Slime hard with a spoon it freezes in place, acting like a solid. But hold it in your hand and open your fingers and it oozes right through, dripping like a liquid. Since Slimy Slime is a bit of a rebel and doesn't display the properties of an ideal liquid described by Isaac Newton back in the 70s, it's classified as a non-Newtonian fluid. It also gives you some hands-on experience with polymers.
