Diving Submarine
Just fill the top chamber with a pinch of baking powder (not baking soda) and shake the mini sub under water.
A chemical reaction makes the sub dive and automatically surface. Give the water a gentle stir and the sub will cruise in circles. It really is like magic to young children.

What you get
KidzLabs Diving Submarine includes Plastic mini sub in a blister pack.
How does it work?
The sub is heavier (more dense) than water and sinks to the bottom, as water reacts with the baking powder carbon dioxide is formed, making the sub buoyant enough to rise to the surface. When the sub reaches the top, it turns on its side, gives a burp (bubble) to release some of the gas and then sinks again. This process is repeated on average 10 times. Note, baking powder is baking soda with an acidic ingredient pre-mixed, usually cream of tartar. This is necessary for the resultant chemical reaction.
