A worm farm is an easy but powerful way to teach children about sustainability, by involving them in converting food waste to a fertile compost instead of landfill. The Worm Farm Complete has three crates and a base crate with a tap to enable the fertile liquid ('worm tea') to be drained as required. As children use the farm they can learn about the processes of decomposition and nutrient recycling, and the amazing features and abilites of the worms themselves. When assembled the farm measures 55cm long x 40cm wide 71cm high. Worms are not included.

What You Get
One Worm Farm Complete, which includes: three plastic crates with perforated bases, a base crate with a tap for drainage, four legs to attach to the base crate, coir brick, a lid for the top crate and instructions.
When assembled the farm measures 55cm long x 40cm wide 70.6cm high. Worms are not included.
How Does It Work
Once set up with live composting worms (not included) the worm farm system will break down the plant waste place in the top tray of the farm ultimately producing organic compost and liquid fertilizer. The liquid waste can be accessed via a tap for use (and dilution) whenever needed.
