Introducing putty with a magnetic
twist: put it near a small, strong magnet and watch it come to life, slowly
engulfing the entire magnet. Mesmerizing and strange matter. Not a permanent
magnet itself, magnetic putty contains tiny particles that respond to a magnetic
field. Try putting a thin thread under a strong magnet and watch it defy
gravity! It works well with our powerful mini neodymium magnet. This non-Newtonian matter can be stretched and bounced like rubber,
shaped and sculptured like clay, and torn and ripped like paper. It’s truly out
of this world!

What
you get
Plastic
egg (Height 50mm, Width 30mm) containing black 15 grams of magnetic putty. Safe
and non toxic.
How
does it work?
Magnetic
putty is non-Newtonian matter that exhibits qualities of both a solid and a
liquid. Just let your putty sit on a flat surface for a while and you’ll see it
spread out and change shape like a liquid. Roll it into a ball and hit it fast
with your fist and it’ll feel hard like a solid. It really can’t make up its
mind. It even bounces like a ball. The magnetic properties of this putty come
from the millions of tiny particles embedded in the putty to ensure it will
respond to any strong magnet.

FAQ
This
putty can take up to an hour to engulf a magnet. The stronger the magnet the
quicker the magnetic putty responds.
